La única desventaja que le encuentro a mi afición costurera es coser disfraces. Reconozco que no es algo que disfrute haciendo porque siempre me pilla el toro y hago muchas trampas. Máxime cuando me dicen un martes en el cole que mi peque tiene que ir el viernes por la mañana vestida de inglesa... el colmo.

¿la reina madre en tonos pastel? ¿guiri en málaga? ¿Mary Poppins?
El primer día lo perdí pensando y cuando estaba a punto de mandarla al cole vestida con un fleece y sandalias con calcetines, Ana me dio la solución cuando sugirió que le preguntara a la Beckham.

A couple of weeks ago my daughter´s teacher gave me 48 hours to make her a dress for the "countries of the world" day at school. She would represent England and had to dress up as an English girl. So what is an english girl? I would have loved to make a Mary Poppins dress but I had no time, so when my friend Ana suggested I ask Mrs Beckham I remembered this outfit

Quedó muy vistoso y a ella le gustó tanto que se lo quedó puesto todo el día.
Después del vestido me apetecía algo fácil así que me hice este gorrito en polar y viyela para la hija de una amiga.

Although the union jack is not quite as it really is (the white horizontal stripes should have been sewn under the vertical red stripe.. too late at night to unpick stitches) it turned out pretty well.
After that I needed a easy project so I made this cute hat for a lovely little girl
